Symbolizing the commodification and commercialization of marginalized bodies, my mural depicted a hermaphrodite wearing butcher chart writings. It emphasizes the objectification of the body and how those who are different are often viewed as commodities. Further, butcher chart writing symbolizes the cutting up and dissection of bodies as mere pieces of meat.
